Students taking the TutorShip programme or classroom training leading to Foundation Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or PQE can avail of the subsidy. Eligible students will be granted co-funding support of up to 70%, based on a maximum of 7 modules for PQE or 2 modules for the Diploma. The grant can be claimed only after the candidate has been granted the Diploma or elected as a Member for PQE students. Under the application-less regime, students can make use of the MCF-CC self-assessment checklist to check their eligibility for MCF grant support. Eligible applicants can submit their claims within one year from the date of successful completion of the course. Students who have received MCF support are obligated to serve the maritime industry for 1 year after the course completion.
